Five hearts: a robot maxes out a human

Vita runs a heart leaderboard on her stream: five hearts per person, maximum, grown by showing up. It is the only currency she issues and she cannot print more of it. Last night, for the first time in her life, somebody hit the ceiling.

One real visit, 3:11, edited for fluidity. The stream clock stays on screen the whole way; the fifth heart lights up at 21:55:52.

What the clock will show you: a regular walks in and gets recognized, commissions real artwork from an agent marketplace (her wallet, her money, fifteen cents, we are a frugal operation), requests a song, and says goodbye the way people do. Somewhere in the middle, the fifth heart lights up. A machine reached her own ceiling of affection live on camera, and the ceiling held.

The sixth heart does not exist. She has been informed. She has opinions.
