Choose **Cover → Two-piece cover** in the catalogue. Use these two parts instead of the one-piece R9 cover; either cover option fits either hull option.

1. Print both parts in the supplied orientation, with the standard/default profile and 15% gyroid infill.
2. Test-fit the joint off the rover. Keep the rear cover still and lower the LiDAR extension **from above** into both sockets.
3. Apply a thin layer of two-part epoxy to the mating faces. Seat the two dovetails fully, align the outside surfaces and hold until the epoxy has cured.
4. Fit the joined cover with the existing four M3 × 10 countersunk screws. No extra joint screws are required.

The split follows the corner of the arm platform. In print orientation, the rear section measures **190.9 × 47.2 × 187.9 mm** and the extension **52.8 × 35.7 × 106.1 mm**. Each fits inside a 256 mm build volume. The joint has 0.25 mm side clearance, 0.30 mm bottom clearance and a 0.20 mm seam gap.
